Intel is reportedly looking for ways to sell Intel Security, cyber security division which is the property of United States origin processor maker.
Reported by the Financial Times, Monday (27/6/2016), Intel called already talking to a number of bankers to find new homes for the cyber security division. The Division formed after Intel acquired the maker of McAfee antivirus in 2010.

A number of private equity firm called will be partnered to acquire Intel Security, with a higher value than 7.7 USD billion, that is, the value that is paid when Intel acquires McAfee six years ago.

The cyber security division sales it seems is part of a massive change in Intel's business, which is away from the PC business. Intel calls the last April will discuss the LAYOFFS 12 thousand employees or about 11% of total employees.

This is part of a change of focus to become a maker of chip data centers and the Internet of Things. In addition Intel also stop the development of Atom processor with SoFIA and Broxton, which practically means that Intel abandoned the smartphone and tablet markets.
